Story
It started to rain on our way home. The raindroops pattered against the windows, and it somehow calmed me down a little. The expectation that had filled my body on our way to Desperado Ranch was almost gone, but it had been replaced with exitment that made my legs shiver.
I looked down at the little puppy cuddled against my leg. She had slept deeply all the way, and she snored quietly beside me. I smiled and patted her on her little head. She was a real sleeping Beauty.
